The art of writing really interests me - the process of getting the story down, editing, fine-tuning till I want to scream. Even the scary part - the "business" of writing, interests me: queries, synopses, researching agents, writing conferences. It's enough to make your head spin right off your shoulders.
But when I'm not writing, I feel incomplete, as if a big part of me is hiding, growing increasingly uncomfortable and angry. And so, I have to write. I need to write. I MUST WRITE!
I love writing - and reading - just about anything. From genre fiction (especially zombies and werewolves) to romance with a real story (no creamy white, heaving bosoms, please) to personal essays and non-fiction books, I love it all.
My short fiction has been published and has even won a few contests. I am looking for representation for both "Moonspell," my werewolf novel, and "Murder in the Family," my mystery.
I live in Southern California, have worked in the legal industry for the past fifteen years, and recently married a wonderful man. We live with our arthritic but always opinionated Min Pin, Xena.
